Simply choose the department you wish to visit from the choices above (e.g. if you were looking for heat mats select "equipment" a new sub-menu will appear then select "heating equipment") Select the items (and size if applicable) and quantity you wish to buy and then click the"Buy me" button This will add your selected item to your virtual shopping basket. To return to the previous page click the "back button" You can select the "Basket" button above at any time. This shows you your order so far and allows you to make any changes You can select another department at any time by selecting from the menus above. Once happy with your order click "Place order" button on the basket page -- this takes you off to our secure server order page
Here any delivery charge applicable will be added (Livefood orders are delivered free in the UK!). If you are still happy with your order - simply fill in your details and click the "Submit" button, only then will your order details be sent to us using the highest 128 bit SSL encryption. Your credit card will only be debited when we are ready to dispatch your order.

FAQ's

Q. I clicked the buy me button to add an item to the basket but there is nothing in the basket!

A. There are two possible cause's for this to happen, firstly we have found that some versions of Netscape may cause this to happen if the "cookies file" is not reset properly to do this now click here and then try again.
The other possible cause is that you do not have your browser set to "Accept cookies" this can be set on older browses under "Internet options" (cookies are small files kept on your computer, in this case just a list of what you have ordered). If you are using IE5 then you need to have the security options set to the default setting.

We have become aware that some users of Netscape 6 are finding that they can not add items to their basket. We have only been able to reproduce this problem once on our many test machines, but it appears to be due to cookies not being dealt with correctly on the first visit to our shop pages.
The solution
If this has happened to you, (you will only need to do this once) then what you need to do is:

  1. While at our site
  2. click "tasks" on the top tool bar
  3. click "privacy and security"
  4. click "cookie manager"
  5. click "block cookies from this site"
  6. follow steps 1,2,3 & 4
  7. click "view stored cookies"
  8. select and remove all 10 cookies from www.livefood.co.uk (or www.reptileweb.co.uk)   (make sure there is NOT a tick in the box "Don't allow removed cookies to be accepted later" or you will never get the *** thing to work) close Netscape 6
  9. Follow steps 1,2,3 & 4 then click "Allow cookies from this site"  now click here (to reset the cookies again) and go to our shop you should have no more problems!
  10. Whew!
